RESCO Mortgage Investment Corporation was incorporated on November 21st, 2013 under the Canadian Business Corporation Act. Our investment objective is to make prudent investments in mortgages against real property located in Canada to generate sustainable and stable income while preserving investment capital for both individual and institutional investors.
 
RESCO MIC is led by a group of professionals with over 80 years of combined experience in banking, mortgage lending, real estate, land development, mutual funds, financial planning and risk management.

Portfolio

The Corporation invests primarily in first and second mortgages secured by residential properties located in major urban centres in Canada. Mortgage terms are typically 6 to 24 months which minimizes real estate price fluctuation risk, interest rate risk and duration risk.



RESCO MIC currently has 233 mortgages with a total principal outstanding of $59,046,475.68 , which comprises of 57 first mortgages, 172 second mortgages, and 4 third mortgages. The Corporation’s mortgages are all secured by properties in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta. Currently, 100% of the portfolio is in residential mortgages.
